Llama: Llamas are awesome! (8)
Just a minor aside from me, since I doubt anyone in particular is watching.  I've come to the conclusion that all the pony shipping groups here on dA are complete and utter shit.  Allow me to explain why, using #TwiDash-FC as an example: Let's get something very clear right from the start: I'm watching this group because I want to see TwiDash shipping. So why is 90% of the artwork being submitted to (and approved by) this group non-shipping material that features only one of the two characters in question?  Shouldn't that kind of artwork be submitted to the groups which are dedicated to the individual characters?  I don't know about other p

Hey you.  Guess who just came out of retirement! I'm not planning on picking up any of my old works and continuing them, but instead working on a new project.  UFO: Equestria is a story that I've been wanting to write for a while now, and I finally gave in to the impulse and put my fingers to the keys.  It's heavily-inspired by the game UFO: Alien Invasion, which is a spiritual successor to X-Com: UFO Defense itself. There's plenty more to come, and many of the questions left unanswered in Penumbra will be answered in the next installment.  Can Princess Luna save Equestria?  Find out next time on UFO: Equestria!

Wow, what can I say?  I never expected to actually get so many more viewers after letting the AppleDash group host my ancient fics.  Maybe I will actually go back and finish Completely Different.  We'll see...

Thx for the fave(s) :D
Thanks for the watch ^^
Yup! Just wanted to make sure I don't lose your updates among the grouped entries.
Hey, Splash, I know it's been a while since the last part, but do you think you'll finish Completely Different? It was a huge inspiration for me (Rejection was written because of it), and I'd like to see an ending.
I might. I've been thinking about the issue, and here are the fundamental problems that I've encountered in every attempt I've made to finish this fiction:

1) Without going back and revamping the entire project from the ground up, I'm going to find myself constantly working against what is now canon. I started writing this story at a time when we hadn't even seen the end of the first season, and now we're already more than halfway through the second. A lot has happened in the show, and a lot of it contradicts where I'd been planning to go from the start.

2) While season 2 has its fair share of good bits, I find that overall the season leaves much to be desired. I won't lie; much of my "OMGYAYPONIES!" has been killed by what I perceive to be a dearth of extremely formulaic writing and poor character development.

Don't bet the farm on me finishing/redoing this series, but it's still within the realm of possibility.
1) Ah yes. That I understand. A current story I'm working on has been more or less invalidated by bits of season 2. I completely understand this point. Rather unfortunate. :<
2) It doesn't quite have the same appeal as season 1. I mean, some of my favorite episodes are from this season, but I feel like there are certain things left desired.

If you don't finish it, uh, would you mind if I wrote my own fanon ending?
Not at all. They're just words, after all. Just be sure to let me have a look at what you've done, if only to sate my own curiosity. :P
